Jeremy's schedule

Sports mean a lot to Jeremy and he loves to be involved in them every chance he gets. He likes to keep a pretty busy schedule making sure that he has something to look forward to.

- pitching coach for Umatilla Boys baseball team

- bowling league (only has two weeks left)

- Men's Golf league, once a week

- Coed competitive softball coming up in May

- probably will help Scott with some summer basketball

I think I need to get myself some more hobbies!

Fixing up the front yard

Spring has finally sprung!!

Jeremy and I have been waiting for the weather to turn warmer and our tax money to get here. Well...both have arrived and you know what that means, working on the outside of the house. I was put in charge of the front yard and boy did my mom and I have a blast!

We had a great time shopping and buying plants and pots and brick. Mom came down two different days to help work in the yard. I pulled a dead tree out of a circle island in the yard and cut out grass to make the island bigger. I put in brick along the front flower border and around the expanded island as a mowing strip to help cut the grass easier. We planted flowers in pots and placed them on the porch. Then we planted all of our numerous flowers everywhere in the border and island!!! Then we added the finishing touch by putting bark around.
Now everything looks so bright and colorful when you drive up to the house.

Carla's visit

Carla, my mother-in-law decided to come visit for a day. She had a couple of days off and we hadn't seen her since New Years. She also brought along Lilly, her Chihuahua.

After she arrived we went to Shari's for breakfast and then back home to visit. We wanted to get out of the house but unfortunately Hermiston is pretty boring! We decided to go to Home Depot and walk around. We looked at fencing, decking, doors, fans, lights, outdoor furniture and plants. We wanted to see if anything sparked our interest for the house.

Then on to Starbuck's for a wake up drink and the bank to deposit our tax return money!

Since Jeremy doesn't care for shopping and getting pedicures, Carla and I dropped him off at the house with Lilly and went and had a spa pedicure! It was great and we were able to spend quality time together.

After eating Subway, we all headed to the bowling alley for my league night. Jeremy was going to go into work that night but decided he needed to spend that time with his mom while she was visiting. We had a great time laughing and when we got home that night, we made popcorn and mango margaritas!! Yum!!

It was a great trip and now I will check when her next days off are and head up to spend girl time with her.

Easter

This year we went untraditional and had breakfast for dinner. Yum! My parents came over to share the holiday with us this year.

-Belgium waffles
-strawberries and real whipped cream for topping waffles
-hashbrowns
-omelettes with turkey sausage, green pepper, broccoli and cheese
-orange juice

Mom and I added mini chocolate chips to our waffle batter. Made us feel like we were at Ihop!!

Another great holiday!
